To prevent fraud, protect against scammers and bots, and maintain the safety of our drivers,
you must be present at both the pickup and drop-off locations
for all Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist pickups.
🔍Verify the item before handoff. You are responsible for inspecting the condition, quality, and identity of the item. Shurget drivers transport what you authorize — not what a seller claims.
💬Negotiate before the driver arrives. Marketplace prices are not fixed. Any price negotiation must be completed before the driver is expected. Drivers do not participate in seller negotiations.
✅Approve before the driver loads. Once you confirm the item is correct and acceptable, you authorize the driver to take possession for transport. This handoff is your responsibility.
🛡Driver safety is non-negotiable. Our drivers are independent contractors covered by general liability insurance. They will not enter unsafe situations or handle disputes with sellers.
Driver No-Show Procedure
1. Driver arrives and customer is not present — driver waits up to 10 minutes and attempts contact via phone.
2. If no response after 10 minutes, driver contacts Shurget support and documents the no-show with a timestamped photo of the location.
3. The booking is marked Customer No-Show. A cancellation fee may apply. The driver receives their base compensation.
4. Customer will be notified and may rebook. Repeated no-shows may result in account suspension.
